Even I could enjoy city living if I had a loft like this! So, I finally got around to blogging the Vindustria living room set by Dictatorshop; where the table and the shelf both are new releases for the Home & Garden Expo. Vintage industrial looks really good in this brick building! For decor I mostly used the Aries set by Elm. which you can find at the Zodiac event, and some bits and pieces from my inventory. Both the expo and the Aries round of Zodiac are still going strong, but we’re entering the final week of the expo som make sure you pay it a visit because it’ll be a whole year until next round! The expo is open until April 7 while Zodiac closes this round on the 10th.
I’ve been wanting to blog this necklace ever since I saw it. It looks amazing in its simplicity. Unisex design, and you can choose between three different versions or rather categories of engravings. It’s HUD driven; where you can choose between different metals and engraving or no engraving. Touch the necklace to resize and edit position to fit your neck. Simple! Keep looking good and head on over to Deliciae where you can find the necklace and other accessories.
Contemporary, fresh and bold. Forget boho, or whatever shabby romantic trend that’s been going on for a while and splash some rich and bright colours around. I mean really rich and bright. The Lacquer sofa and chair set by Nomad comes in nine different colour options.
Kei’s Love Bed is fun and colourful all by itself and I thought for a moment, that I was going overboard with my use of bright blue, pink and red… but it all comes together really well and makes a trendy and fun studio apartment.
It’s a beautiful day for a picnic, dear, let’s take the boat out. Old doesn’t necessarily mean out dated. Just look at the Peak suit by Deadwool. It was released back in 2016, which is a long time in the virtual world, but it’s still holding up nicely isn’t it? I swear by the Belleza Jake body and this suit was only fitted for Slink, but still it looks damn good and I wear it all the time! Mahogany was doing a H&G photo shoot and when she finished that, we had some fun dressing up and putting ourselves in the scene.
Sander is wearing:
[Deadwool] Peak suit (Royal, Black Pin)
[Deadwool] Bowler Hat
[Deadwool] Dandy Shoes
Modulus – Don Hair
Volkstone – Gentleman Hairbase, Brows and Facial Hair
MF – Daniel Bento Hipster Stache and Beard (beard hidden)
If camping in the wilderness is not your thing, you would perhaps appreciate spending an afternoon or an evening in the Happy Camper by EED. We made camp on my home parcel so we didn’t go very far, but we did build a fire and spent the evening together, enjoying the closeness and keeping the every day drudgery at a distance.
EED’s Happy Camper set is a group of birch trees, flowers and a tent with stringlights and cuddly blankets and pillows. It will cozy up any garden or campsite! You can find it now at the Boardwalk event which is open until April 15.
Need a peaceful place to quiet your mind and find your center? You can create this space in your own home and using only a few items. A comfortable pillow to sit on, incense, candles and an indoor water fountain to set the mood. The Mandala symbolizes the universe and looks really good when decorating your spiritual space. HJM Designs made the water fountain and LozMac made the mandala tapestry you see in this picture and you can find them both at the Home & Garden Expo which is open until April 7th.
The 12th annual Home & Garden Expo Second Life runs from 15th March to 7th April 2019 and is a mega event that raises funds for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). This year’s Expo spans 10 regions, and showcases home and garden creations from small decor items through furniture and landscaping to small and large houses.
There’s something for the children too at the SL Home & Garden Expo. Sonder is a store created for the imagination and vibrance of the children of SL. They specialize in home decor, trinkets, wearables, and more to enhance your SL childhood. Together with Sonder’s Blossoms Bed Set I used some of by Chiana Oh‘s creations and put everything inside the Pastel Dreamy Skybox by [QE] Designs, that are all to be found at the Expo.
I’ve never decorated a children’s room before and so I couldn’t find many props or toys in my inventory. With huge help from Mahogany (I don’t think she’s decorated SL children’s rooms before either, but she’s got an impressive inventory!) I was able to furnish this room. Big thanks to Sonder and by Chiana Oh for the furniture, [QE] Designs for the skybox and Mahogany’s inventory for props. Look, we all made this super cute children’s room!
The Aries Man is described as a fearless fighter, fiery, impulsive and playful. Let the planets lead you over to the Zodiac event and check out all the amazing creations that in this round are inspired by this fiery sign!
I’m a Capricorn with moon in Aries (don’t ask how I know that), so yeah.. for those who knows what that means; I’ll be grateful for any condolences and words of consolation in the comment section below. I’m joking. A little. So the Aries round of Zodiac opened the other day! Lots of good stuff, where the designers have used the sign of Aries as their inspiration. Not an Aries? Don’t worry, you’ll still love these creations like I do!
THIRST has made this awesome bomber jacket and in the HUD you’ll find a multitude of colours to choose from; solids or dual tone, print or no print, ram or no ram!
