I try not to let the bleak world situation get me down. It’s real and it’s grim but I’m here; I’m right here right now in this moment, living my life. Might as well make the best of it, even in isolation. Remember to take care of yourselves. By that, I don’t just mean social distancing and hand washing. That’s a given. I mean take care of YOU and there are a lot of ways to do that at home; Turn off the TV once in a while and exercise, draw or paint, read a book, hell, write a book! Sing, dance, cuddle and groom your pets. Pick up the phone or Skype and call a friend or a family member.
Now more than ever I’m thankful for the little things. The puppies and I are doing good. I’m healthy and I know M is healthy too and even though we can’t be together right now we will be, soon. Until then we’re both doing our part by staying home.
