Let me just start by saying I’m not dead, nor am I in a mental coma, I’ve just always loved the optimism in this song by Sweetbox. Actually, maybe in some ways I have been in a mental coma. Not regarding love, but rather, of what my love has to deal with on a daily basis. We lead protected and somewhat naive lives in Norway and Oslo people trying to copy my northerner accent or wondering how many reindeer I have (Sami reference) is nothing, NOTHING, compared to what black americans have lived through for centuries. Yes, yes, before you go raging in my comments Norwegian Sami history is not good, but also not the point right now. And to people that right now are saying All Lives Matter, please don’t. Not right now. What you’re doing is stealing focus away from the Black Lives Matter movement and if you didn’t know it, it’s pretty darn important! So for right now, let’s all focus and work together to get rid of racism because it’s about f***ing time we do that!

Oh! Mahogany and I are snuggling close in the Art Studio photo scene by DiMi’s!
