I was playing with different sunny windlights for a while but hey, a dramatic stormy sky can also make objects stand out more, especially when there’s so much of it.

B-Made will be participating in the upcoming round of Cosmopolitan with The Barn Set. This round of Cosmopolitan will run from February 8th through February 21st. Now, The Barn… This is a fantastic set from B-Made and you can buy each item separately or as full set. The Little Branch is at Shiny Shabby with the Bitternut Tree and at Uber with the Crape Myrtle Tree. Bitternut Hickory is a tall, slender, cylindrical deciduous tree with a broad pyramid-shaped crown. The bitternut hickory is a member of the group of trees called ‘pecan hickories’. It produces round and bitter inedible nuts. The hardwood of bitternut hickory is used for making tools, furniture, paneling, dowels, and ladders. The tree is at home in the forest or out in the open. It makes a beautiful boarder tree and will look great on your parcel. Crape Myrtle trees provide year-round interest and color with their showy summer blooms, colorful fall foliage and attractive winter bark. The crepe myrtle—the premiere ornamental tree of the South—is without equal in year-round seasonal interest. In spring, the leaf buds swell red, creating a light maroon wash across the canopy; in summer, the lavish blooms stop you in your tracks; in late summer, the fallen petals spread before you like jewels scattered on the ground; in autumn, many varieties boast glowing orange-gold or red foliage; and in winter, the sculptural form of the trunks shines in the sun like pulled taffy.
