Lyckliga Gatan

The caption is inspired by the Stockholm Street backdrop by Minimal that I’m using in this picture. A little piece of the Swedish capital’s ‘Gamla Stan’, which means Old Town, in Second Life. And a song found in my dad’s old record collection; ‘Lyckliga gatan’. It’s a swedish remake of the italian song ‘Il ragazzo della via Gluck’ and the swedish lyrics are about how the old happy street of her childhood is all gone, replaced by concrete and high rise buildings. It was a number one selling hit in both Sweden and Norway in 1967-1968. I’ve added a nice remix to go with my more contemporary picture but also the original, which I hope you enjoy!
