We have several projects going on in Second Life right now; blogging, The Bar and recently Mahogany started singing which has been the most amazing experience to be a part of. She’s got such a beautiful voice, believe me, I’m not just saying that because I’m her boyfriend. Come to one of her shows and be amazed! When we’re not working, one of the things we like to do is go dancing while we listen to other live performances. Live music is one of the greatest gifts Second Life has to offer and we’re avid supporters.
Showcasing the No. 59 ISTC Planberger beer in sixpack. A beautifully texured metal case with 6 types of beer to choose from! You get sixpacks to rez or to wear (hold) and they all dispense temp attached animated beer bottles that won’t interfere with your AO and you can wear them with static poses too. In the box you’ll also find beer bottles for perma wear. When you have a beer in hand, say ‘cheers’ in chat and you will toast the others.
From Old Norse Norvegr (“north way”), Norðvegr, from norðr (“north”) + vegr (“way”), contrasted with suðrvegr (“south way”), i.e. Germany, and austrvegr (“east way”), the Baltic lands.
Heim is the German, Norwegian, Icelandic and Faroese equivalent of the English word home. It is a common German and Norwegian suffix in place names such as Mannheim and Trondheim.
It’s May 17th and today is Norway’s Constitution Day, a national holiday, and we celebrate it big time. The day is of such importance, its celebration is not limited to Norway only. You can find a May 17th Festival in Seattle, Washington and a parade in Brooklyn, New York, for instance and in several Australian cities! The celebration is non-military; it’s all about the people, children, togetherness, peace and freedom. We do parades, good food as well as eating as much cake, ice cream and hot dogs as we possibly can and you can see lots and lots of traditional costumes.

Daft Punk – Get Lucky
I don’t believe in luck, but I feel lucky does that make sense? Maybe blessed is a more fitting word even though it basically means the same thing. I’m feeling blessed in so many ways these days I’m not going to list them all here; you know who you are and you know the reasons why 😘
I am going to mention this one other thing though; when you love fashion or to decorate (or both) and take photos in Second Life, finding a sponsor that you really like is kind of a blessing. Not the (real) life altering one that I was thinking about initially, but kind of a big deal in the virtual world. It makes you love what you do even more!
Now, I feel like I’m still just getting started; with blogging, decor, photography, the works, but I’ve been blessed with meeting people who have shown me the ins and outs in record time and sponsors who are willing to take a chance on a newbie – I love my sponsors for that reason alone but also, they make some pretty great stuff! FKD is one of them and I’m wearing all FKD in this photo. I also want to give the Home & Garden Expo a shout out for choosing me as one of their bloggers. I’ve promised them I’d decorate the most awesome man cave ever if they chose me, so I can’t wait to see what the expo has to offer in that regard! Follow my blog to stay updated!

Most of us, if not all, could relate to the scene in the 1983 movie Risky Business where Tom Cruise as Joel Goodson, home alone, turns up the volume and dances around in the living room in his underwear. I’m no teenager, but I still do this because why not and also I find it very therapeutic! So here’s my recreation of the scene and what it’d look like in the home of a, ahum, slightly older man. I hope you enjoy it!

Always remember, you’re only human; you’ll make mistakes. Forgive yourself, learn from them, grow. Always strive to be the best version of yourself. For you. If you don’t love yourself, how can you love someone else? Always see the light in others and treat them like that’s all you see. Love wholeheartedly and never stop showing your love, even when things are tough. That’s when it’s needed the most.

The dining room functions as the unpacking central.
This is a familiar sight for most of us right? My stuff arrived today. Luckily I don’t own a whole lot of stuff. I’ve moved around a few times and I don’t get attached to things. And I don’t like clutter. This house is big though, it’s a lot bigger than the cottage and I can’t possibly fill it with the stuff I have now, but I have plans for every room. In addition to the must have kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms, I’m also going to furnish a dining room, an office/library, a multimedia room and a wine cellar.
Spacious living room with a beautiful fireplace.
I have to go out and shop some furniture now. It will take some time because I have particular taste and I appreciate quality. So not only do they have to look good, they need to function and stand a few years of wear and tear and also, they shouldn’t go out of style after a year. The only rooms that are ready to use is the kitchen and the bathrooms, so I need to furnish my bedroom first along with the living room and then I can do all the other rooms when time and finances allow.
