I had some time to kill yesterday evening, so I set up this scene for the Summertime Cottage by DaD, which is a previous release on sale for this weekend’s Happy Weekend Mainstore Sales, March 30th-31st. It’s a beautiful coastal style wooden cottage, open layout with a big front porch and 3 large living areas. Tip: You can edit linked the pillars under the house to fit the terrain. Outdoor lamp with light on/off by touch. The blowing curtains are included, and they come in 4 shapes, and with two texture options.

An illusion or not, we still count the days until the Engine Room event opens on March 20th, and tomorrow is the day! LORE will participate with the splendidly done Splendid Set! A beautiful Steampunk set, consisting of a small shed in wood and iron, with brass decor, and with a working clock on the roof. The clock is softlinked to the building so that you can remove it if you prefer without. The Auto-Rubbish bin, which opens upon touch, and closes again automatically (spinny lever!), comes in black, blue, brown, green and red. A bench in iron and wood, with beautiful decorative elements, and to complete the set, there’s also cast iron bollards with chains, and a plank path kit! Be splendid!
The landscape, apart from the Elder Oak and the fluffy Natoma grass from Konoha, consists solely of land forms, rocks and textures provided by FANATIK. The Abano Bushy Terrain pack contains 4 different mesh land forms, with different terrain textures. The Abano Path set consists of 3 path pieces. The Abano Rock Cluster pack contains 4 different land forms with rock clusters, and lastly the Abano Pebbles set consisting of 6 different meshes with pebble and terrain texture. All of which come with season change HUD (summer/winter). All the pieces can be placed together beautifully into an entire landscape. I used them all in my picture. The cliffs in the background I made by retexturing bigger mesh land forms, using the Ground Layers group gifts from FANATIK.

Look at the cuteness! The Easter Bunny Gang from DaD even have names! From left to right: Cotton Tail, Daffodil, Dizzie, Boo Boo, and Chubby Chub. It looks like the gang has been scrumping for carrots, and now they’re making an escape! You can catch these cute bunnies at this round of Equal10. You can buy them separately or as a fatpack.
The owner of the cottage might not even get angry about a few missing carrots when they see who’s out there. The Abbey Cottage is a charming stone cottage, with an open living and kitchen area on the ground floor and a half loft for your bed. Its footprint is 13.5 x 15.5 m and 126 Li.

I almost want to reinstall World of Warcraft, and roll a Troll or an Orc char when I look at the amazing Lowland Braziers from LORE. You can actually find a bloody version in the texture HUD, it looks fantastic, but wasn’t quite right in this setting :p Along with the brazier you can find the Lowland Fence Kit at this round of We ❤ Roleplay. The fence comes in rotten and pristine versions, and with season changer HUD. At the LORE mainstore you can find the Lowland Parlor Table with stool. A beautifully carved flower table and leather stool, the latter with 12 color options for the leather.
And since it’s spring. Not where I am, yet, but in other parts of the world and on SL for sure; I want to direct focus at all the beautiful spring flowers from Konoha. Daffodils, Nemophila, Snowdrops, Crocuses, Rhododendron, to name some. In the picture above, you can see the daffodils and nemophila, along with the Konoha Fluffy Natoma Grass, Jest Weeds, Elder Oak and Trails of Kitamachi. The Malibu Inclined Palm Trees Collection is a set of Palms in different inclined shapes for all types of landscape themes. Galanthus nivalis – Milk flower of the snow, or common snowdrop. A sure sign of spring, as the snowdrop is one of the first bulbs to bloom. It can form impressive white carpets in areas they thrive in.
Konoha has made a great variety of snowdrops for you! Clumps in circles, squares, curve, slope, and more! Recently she participated in a TV-series called ‘Hver gang vi møtes’ (Whenever we meet), where a selection of musicians/singers honor each other by covering their songs, in their image. One of the best covers on this show was Mari Boine doing Matoma/Van Buren’s ‘Easy to love’. In the Sapmi language. Her way. It’s amazing, have a listen while you read the blog credits.
