If you want to walk fast walk alone, if you want to walk far, walk together.
ARCBACK has done it again, gone and made a fantastic outfit for the trendy guy; with # 18 you get a whole outfit. Everything, EVERYTHING I’m wearing is in the set! You can of course buy each piece individually, or you can buy a mega fatpack which contains just too many options… Let me try to list a few; you get a hat to either wear on your head or to spin on your hand, wear your shirt tucked, or long like I do. And there’s a texture changing option for every piece. The # 18 Trendy set is available right now and until August 31st at The Mens Dept.
1: the period between early July and early September when the hot sultry weather of summer usually occurs in the northern hemisphere
2: a period of stagnation or inactivity
Did you know?
Dogs aren’t the only creatures uncomfortable in oppressive heat, so why does a dog get singled out in dog days? The dog here is actually the Dog Star, which is also called Sirius. The star has long been associated with sultry weather in the northern hemisphere because it rises simultaneously with the sun during the hottest days of summer. In the ancient Greek constellation system, this star (called Seirios in Greek) was considered the hound of the hunter Orion and was given the epithet Kyon, meaning “dog.” The Greek writer Plutarch referred to the hot days of summer as hēmerai kynades (literally, “dog days”), and a Latin translation of this expression as dies caniculares is the source of our English phrase.
Memory is the best of all gardens. Therein, winter and summer, the seeds of their past lie dormant, ready to spring into instant bloom at any moment the mind wishes to bring them to life.
Some of the best memories are made in flip flops, yes? Enjoy what’s left of the summer, people! I’m wearing a new tattoo, called Memories, by CAROL G for Men Only Monthly (opens July 20th) and # 17 by ARCBACK, which is a pair of denim shorts, for this round of Man Cave (open now!).
Fall in love with somebody who will never let you go to sleep wondering if you still matter.
Are you one of those people who say that you don’t want to say I love you “too often” because you think saying it will make the words lose importance somehow? Stop it, you’re being foolish. Notice how I didn’t call you a fool, I’m just calling that particular behaviour foolish. (Just here for the credits? Then scroll ⇊)
How do you think your relationship is going to last if you hold back, the words or even affection? Instead of making your partner feel loved, you hurt them and make them feel like they’re being needy or too much. Do you know what I think when people do that? I don’t think they really love, maybe they don’t even know what love is and I believe their partners deserve better. You can’t love someone too much if it’s a mutual love! The words don’t ever lose their meaning! In fact, the more you say them and the more you both give (yes, the effort has to be equal), the more it solidifies the foundation of your relationship. Now, I’ve been hurt in the past, who hasn’t? I still don’t know how to love any less than wholeheartedly. I don’t want any less either, so it’s all good I’m all in. Now go make your loved one feel like they’re the most important person in this world.
More Smart Casual than Casual; the #16 ARCBACK Casual set which is available now at The Men’s Department gives you a multitude of options for looking smart every day. Shirt tucked or not tucked, tie or no tie, suspenders or no suspenders. Got a date? Then tuck that shirt and put on a tie, trust me, you don’t have to wear a suit but dressing smart is a very, very good idea.
