There’s still 2-3 feet of snow on the ground where I live in real life. Yes, the thaw has started but spring has definitely arrived at 1307 Bird Lane in Second Life. The blackbirds are occupying the mailbox and it’s ok because we hardly ever use it anymore anyway. The plum tree outside the wall is starting to bear fruit and the car is clean inside and outside and it looks brand new again! Ok yeah, I’m really longing for spring now.

I’m in a hurry to squeeze in one more blog post before Bloom ends so not going to write an extensive post but I do want to welcome |T|L|C| to my blog with this picture of their ‘Little Thieves’; the most adorable collection of rabbits, static and animesh. Picasso had a dog and not just a dog he had a Dachshund and his name was Lump. Lump featured in several paintings and sketches. Dachshunds have inspired a lot of art through the times and to their humans this comes as no surprise.

Galland Homes is introducing the Savannah Pool at Uber Hometown. This is a pool and pool house which requires only a modest footprint (about 20 meters in length). Terraforming is required for the pool depression.

Tuesdays are also at Uber Hometown this round with their Wrought Iron Screens. Outdoor and Indoor versions available. Texture change menu upon Touch.

The Little Branch is at this round of Uber with the Cottonwood Tree. Members of the Poplar family, cottonwoods were important to Native Americans who used all parts of the tree. Their trunks were used as dugout canoes. The bark provided forage for horses and a bitter, medicinal tea for their owners. Sweet sprouts and inner bark were a food source for both humans and animals.

Galland Homes is participating in Love to Decorate’s Seasons Change event, 2021 winter edition, with the Allegheny Pavilion. This is a mainstore event and the Galland Homes LM is here.
The pavilion is a new mesh design and is 23 LI. The snow roof and snow caps for the pillars are included, though not linked and can be placed as you desire. Thus, this pavilion can be used all year!

The Little Branch is at Uber with The Norway Spruce. The Norway Spruce is the fastest growing of the spruces! Norway spruce trees support a wide variety of wildlife. They are important as winter cover for deer and small game including grouse, hare and woodcock. Song birds and fur bearers also frequent these forest types. Norway spruce also makes a good roosting tree for hawks and owls.

Up Way Too Late

The title of my blog post is inspired by the very revealing time shown on the clock in the picture. I had the clock show my time zone and apparently I took this picture at almost 1 am last night. I even stayed up for a couple more hours after that 😛

GOOSE just released their first modern bedroom set, at this round of Cosmopolitan and it looks awesome! With metal and wood finish it has a masculine, urban/industrial feel and it’ll look great in any modern build The complete set consists of a bed, cabinet, privacy screen, lamps and wall art. I decorated my bedroom inside the Attison, a newly released house by Galland Homes. For exterior shots of the house, take a look at my previous blog post.
