Preparing for Christmas at a cabin in Scandinavia? Been there, done that and just so you know, it’s extremely cozy.

The puppies and I have been on a mission to find the perfect Christmas tree and we did so in the most beautiful setting. The girls are excited that we’re bringing a whole tree inside the house.. but no chewing on it! This is also why I can’t put my presents under the tree. They are very good puppers, but they just can’t resist opening presents!

The Halloween Robbery

Over at Uber you can find both the Grafitti Banyan Tree by The Little Branch and the Scary House by DaD. The Witches Cauldron scene is available at the HJM Designs mainstore.

You need a spooky house you said? DaD’s Scary House is certainly spooky but it’s also charming! 90 Li and Copy/Mod, it comes with or without chimney smoke and it also has a snow addon.

The detailed textures and carvings on the bark are why the tree from Little Branch was named Graffiti; many visitors who have seen these trees have felt compelled to leave their marks on this majestic old tree. For the tree in my picture, they probably did that mostly during day time… Straight out of the box the tree is 22 Li, but as it’s Copy/Mod you can adapt it to suit your needs.

Those who have followed me here or on Flickr a while know that I mostly like taking crisp, clear pictures, in colour. My pictures very much reflect my mood. And I love Fall because of the colours. Yeah, it’s also the start of ‘hygge’ season which is mmmm! Um, where was I.. Oh yes, I have some wonderful Fall decor to show you today!

The Happy Hobby Gardener Pt. 1

I like doing yard work. Cutting grass, trimming trees, moving rocks. I haven’t done much planting though, but I suspect I might like that too if I ever get a garden that’s my own. Then I’d want a greenhouse like this one from CHEZ MOI; with a mixture of glass and bricks it’s a fantastic piece of garden decor all on its own and with the lean-to shed I’d have everything I need to be a happy hobby gardener. The cute little shed in this picture is made by HJM Designs. It comes with exterior and interior decor, 8 single animations, prop rezzer, and there’s a texture change menu upon Touch. You can find both the greenhouse and the shed in their respective mainstores (slurls below). I’m showing you the inside of the shed in this post and tomorrow, or later today depending on where you are in the world, I’ll have another post showing you the inside of the greenhouse.

Coastal Sunset

I think I’m going to stay on the coast for the duration of the summer. It’s really nice, not too hot, and take a look at this cute little float house I found today by Never Totally Dead! Decorated with hanging wall planters by HJM Designs and interior decor by Nutmeg (I’ll show you a picture of that later in a post by itself).
The Float House comes with a chair containing single sits (the chair is unlinked so you can move it around) and the house has a resizer menu on touch. I’m showing the original size, which has a Land Impact of 32.
HJM Designs have made 5 different versions of The Bucket Wall Planters, I’ve used the Mixed Flowers and the Hanging Plant. The planters also come with an animated butterfly or bee, you turn the animation on or off by touching them. You can also change the texture of the wood by touching that; light or dark versions.

The 12th annual Home & Garden Expo Second Life runs from 15th March to 7th April 2019 and is a mega event that raises funds for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). This year’s Expo spans 10 regions, and showcases home and garden creations from small decor items through furniture and landscaping to small and large houses.
