If you read my previous blog post you already know that The Float House is tiny. It’s one small room, with open doors on either side. I didn’t have to decorate the inside to show off the house, but the moment I saw it I knew I was going to do it. The Float House is perfect for spending a day on the shore; do some fishing and prepare it right there on the deck and maybe even stay the night and enjoy a morning swim in the sea. Sounds perfect to me.
This post is not sponsored by Nutmeg. I just love their designs and my inventory contains quite a lot of their stuff and, hell yes, I’m going to use them in my blog from time to time.
For pictures of The Float House exterior please see this post.
I think I’m going to stay on the coast for the duration of the summer. It’s really nice, not too hot, and take a look at this cute little float house I found today by Never Totally Dead! Decorated with hanging wall planters by HJM Designs and interior decor by Nutmeg (I’ll show you a picture of that later in a post by itself). The Float House comes with a chair containing single sits (the chair is unlinked so you can move it around) and the house has a resizer menu on touch. I’m showing the original size, which has a Land Impact of 32. HJM Designs have made 5 different versions of The Bucket Wall Planters, I’ve used the Mixed Flowers and the Hanging Plant. The planters also come with an animated butterfly or bee, you turn the animation on or off by touching them. You can also change the texture of the wood by touching that; light or dark versions.
My fashion philosophy is, if you’re not covered in dog hair, your life is empty.
The Puppy Love Bath by Touch Mia includes static poses, male and female, bath bucket with texture changer and on/off bubbles, three different coloured labrador puppies, sponge to hold, a soap bottle and mud puddle for decoration. It’s a fun item that brought smiles to our faces! I’m also showcasing a cool T-shirt from Pretty Sexy Things; it comes with several different prints. Mahogany is wearing the Lulu top by ZFG. All these items are available at ✈️ Rally To Rescue until June 20th!
Mahogany’s poses are included in the Puppy Love Bath

Coffee or tea? Dogs or cats? Contemporary or classic? Some of the most important questions in life they are not, but still somewhat meaningful. My answers would be yes to both on two out of the three but I do need my coffee. In my entry for the Apple Fall #MyBelgravia contest I’ve envisioned how this all would look, mixing classic and contemporary and owning both canine and feline. The coffee is ready, of course, but there is also the option for tea. I hope you like it!

Aries (♈) /ˈɛəriːz/ (meaning “ram”) is the first astrological sign in the zodiac, spanning the first 30 degrees of celestial longitude (0°≤ λ <30°). Under the tropical zodiac, the Sun transits this sign from approximately March 20 to April 21 each year. This time duration is exactly the first month of the Solar Hijri calendar (Hamal/Farvardin/Wray). The symbol of the ram is based on the Chrysomallus, the flying ram that provided the Golden Fleece.
So many blog posts lately, with covering both Zodiac and the Expo events in addition to keeping up with new releases from my designer sponsors. It’s a fun ride that’s for sure, but I’m looking forward to a bit of rest next week!
Ok so, the Tuesdays lanterns are simply amazing. I want them in real life! I want this room in real life, but let’s focus on a couple of items. The lanterns come in a variety of shapes and types; there’s one with a candle, two types with lights on them and two types just for decor. Touch them to change texture and turn off or on the lights. Bedroom, living room, bathroom… outdoors even, they will create a wonderful atmosphere wherever you put them!
The side table and ram head decor from Mudhoney is also a versatile piece; rough and elegant at the same time. Choose the texture that fits your room and it’ll look awesome! You can find both the lantern set and the Aries accessories at the Zodiac event until April 10!
Even I could enjoy city living if I had a loft like this! So, I finally got around to blogging the Vindustria living room set by Dictatorshop; where the table and the shelf both are new releases for the Home & Garden Expo. Vintage industrial looks really good in this brick building! For decor I mostly used the Aries set by Elm. which you can find at the Zodiac event, and some bits and pieces from my inventory. Both the expo and the Aries round of Zodiac are still going strong, but we’re entering the final week of the expo som make sure you pay it a visit because it’ll be a whole year until next round! The expo is open until April 7 while Zodiac closes this round on the 10th.
Contemporary, fresh and bold. Forget boho, or whatever shabby romantic trend that’s been going on for a while and splash some rich and bright colours around. I mean really rich and bright. The Lacquer sofa and chair set by Nomad comes in nine different colour options.
Kei’s Love Bed is fun and colourful all by itself and I thought for a moment, that I was going overboard with my use of bright blue, pink and red… but it all comes together really well and makes a trendy and fun studio apartment.
Need a peaceful place to quiet your mind and find your center? You can create this space in your own home and using only a few items. A comfortable pillow to sit on, incense, candles and an indoor water fountain to set the mood. The Mandala symbolizes the universe and looks really good when decorating your spiritual space. HJM Designs made the water fountain and LozMac made the mandala tapestry you see in this picture and you can find them both at the Home & Garden Expo which is open until April 7th.
The 12th annual Home & Garden Expo Second Life runs from 15th March to 7th April 2019 and is a mega event that raises funds for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). This year’s Expo spans 10 regions, and showcases home and garden creations from small decor items through furniture and landscaping to small and large houses.
