This will be my final blog post covering the SL Home & Garden Expo 2019 as it closes tomorrow. I can’t think of a better way than to finish with the PRIDE Collection by Gems of Topaz. The texture changer in the coffee table, chair and chaise allows you to pick and choose your colour from the rainbow as well as pattern on the pillows and blanket. Put more rainbow in your life and let’s all show more love and less hate and pride as opposed to shame going forward. The painting by Sisi Biedermann is named Time is running. Why spend any time spewing hate? Remember, no matter who you are;

The 12th annual Home & Garden Expo Second Life runs from 15th March to 7th April 2019 and is a mega event that raises funds for Relay For Life of Second Life (RFL of SL). This year’s Expo spans 10 regions, and showcases home and garden creations from small decor items through furniture and landscaping to small and large houses.

Heart Mandala tapestry by LozMac and Adagio Indoor Water Fountain by HJM Designs

Need a peaceful place to quiet your mind and find your center? You can create this space in your own home and using only a few items. A comfortable pillow to sit on, incense, candles and an indoor water fountain to set the mood. The Mandala symbolizes the universe and looks really good when decorating your spiritual space. HJM Designs made the water fountain and LozMac made the mandala tapestry you see in this picture and you can find them both at the Home & Garden Expo which is open until April 7th.

Dream, Wish, Do – Home and Garden Design 2019

Did you visit the Home & Garden Expo yet? I thought I’d move inside and show you some furniture and decor today, using the repurposed cable reel desk and chair by Elementals as my base item. I decorated it with office clutter decor, also by Elementals, but the desk does have a prop rezzer built into its animations. The Vindustria Chair by Dictatorshop is such an awesome looking piece and they have made a table and a shelf to go with the chair and sofa so now it’s a set! I did not have room to show it in this post, but I’ll make sure to do a post on those later. If you can’t wait for that you can hop on over to the Expo and take a look for yourself! Now… and I’m so stoked about this. The amazing prints on the right? moss&mink did those, for the ZODIAC event! It’s back guys and the line-up for this round, the Aries round, is impressive. Make sure to check it out as it opens today!

On the coast – Home and Garden Design 2019

You’re probably thinking by now, that I must have a thing for the ocean. Well you’re right, I do. I grew up on a small island in a town where nearly every house has a 180° panoramic ocean view. When Mahogany and I saw this bungalow by Adorably Strange Wares at the Home & Garden Expo I just knew I had to blog it so we plonked it down right on top of the shore on Mahogany’s home parcel. I framed the facade using the Three Green Spring Trees from Thus Magic, and if I’d had more climbing rose bushes I would’ve used them because they look absolutely amazing. The Mixed Flower Boat Planter by HJM Designs looks good on the deck and the Paper Boat Candles, also from ASW, on the water. They are going to create a wonderful atmosphere wherever you decide to use them, I promise.

The Blakely Bungalow is a 2 bedroom 1bath, with center open courtyard and slider barn style doors. It has a 25×25 footprint and Li is 232. Exclusive now at The Home & Garden Expo RLF Charity!
