Ok, so it may have happened in October – the actual falling in love part, but we met in-world for the first time a year ago today, on September 27. What a wonderful year it’s been, M. You are amazing. Thank you for being you and thank you for loving me the way you do. ❤ Happy Anniversary, my love. The first of many.

I’ve been in the mood for jazz, the slow sultry kind, ever since Mahogany started performing in Second Life. Whatever Lola Wants is one of my favourite songs that she sings, along with Black Coffee, Fever, and she does an amazing Why Don’t You Do Right *sighs*, and the list goes on.

On Friday Mahogany is not only doing her regular show at Gypsy’s Jazz & Blues Club, she’s doing a one time only event at Lust Ultra Lounge. It’s going to be something special and I can hardly wait! …So you see our very existence is a rhythm, of waking and sleeping, eating and moving, and that’s all we’re doing. Just consider what we do everyday. What’s it all about? Does it really mean anything? Does it go anywhere? It’s just we keep wanting to do this kind of a ‘hoop-dee-da’. So you can get a certain vision of life, where everything is seen to be a complex pattern of rhythm.

Are you someone’s one and only love? Ok. Good. Is that person your one and only? Do you ever stop to think how lucky you are to have that very special connection with that person? It seems a rare thing, someone’s one and only. At least in Second Life where the freedom to do almost whatever you want make people do just that. If someone gives themselves to you, completely and wholeheartedly; treasure it. And if you give back what you get you might discover the meaning of true love. If you can’t do that, then the least you can do is be honest and upfront about it. It makes you a better person and gives the other person a chance to choose if what you have to offer them is enough. Scared it’s not? Well that seems right to me.
