With some wise words by Odin I’m welcoming Jangka to my blog with this picture of their Odin Headdress (unisex) and Odin Armbands (Legacy M). The headdress immediately inspired this Norse shaman, I hope you like it! I feel it’s important to point out that most Scandinavians, or Nordic even because it includes Iceland, during the Viking age… weren’t Vikings. They did make blood sacrifice in honor of the Norse gods, yes, it definitely was a rough time during the Middle Ages but most people weren’t savage warriors however; they were farmers and fishermen and merchants. When iron was put to use in farming, production went up and land became scarce and some people decided to set sail to other countries to raid and plunder in order to make a living. They went ‘viking’ and they gave a name to the entire Nordic poplulation that lived during that time. Ok ok you say, so what am I blogging?

I’m blogging some amazing creations that have been released for this round of Men Only. The beautiful tattoo is by CORAZON, the kilt by L’Emporio & PL and if you look close enough you can see face scratches by NoRush. I’m blogging them again later, and closer, in another picture just because they look amazing as far as scratches go.

Keeping people out of your life who contribute nothing positive is called intelligence.

I’ve started a big clean out of the property at home; old junk, double sets of this and that, broken things and things not in use anymore. Everything needs to be tossed out. I’ve always found it easy to get rid of things and when you’ve tossed something out it stays out and you’re free to renew your home or wardrobe or whatever. People are definitely harder to get rid of though, for most of us, even when they don’t bring anything positive to our lives. But, and this is true in all things; if there’s no gain in keeping, there’s no loss in weeding out. I’m tossing “everything” out! 😜

The awesome Cyber Repair Backdrop is a new backdrop from TROPIX and it’s available at the September round of Cyber Fair by ACCESS. Active Light and No Light versions available and it comes with extra parts which you can decorate however you like.

The most recent release for us guys from FashionNatic are the Colt Shoes which are out at MAN CAVE for a couple more days. They are compatible with Jake (shown on me), Gianni and Legacy male mesh bodies and come with a color/texture HUD with a multitude of customization options so you can make these shoes your own.

The Borealis Slingshot Trike car from 777 Motors was released earlier this summer I just haven’t blogged it before. It is so cool, a Marvel super hero would drive this! You can find it in the 777 Motors mainstore!

It’s mango season and I’m not sure if there are any RL Mango Festivals going on this year but we can still celebrate this extraordinary fruit by eating lots of it! Also, we can certainly throw a mango party in SL, no worries!

Sari-Sari has, inspired by the Mango Festival in the Philippines made a mango festival set that includes Bamboo Table, Mango Festival Sign and 3 varieties each of Carabao mangoes on wooden baskets and plates. Juneteenth equals freedom and freedom is what America is about!

Juneteenth falls on June 19th every year and celebrates the end of slavery in the US. While Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation back in January 1st in 1863, it took a few years for many enslaved African-American people to claim their freedom. June 19th in 1865 marks the day when more than 1,800 troops arrived in Texas to free the remaining enslaved people in the state. Since then, African-American people across the US celebrate Juneteenth with various festivities and events. As of this year, 2021, Juneteenth is a national federal holiday and I believe everyone should celebrate this day. Happy Juneteenth, AMERICA!

He was talking about americans to americans, of course, as America has more human rights issues it needs to work on before it can truly be the land of the free. Right here right now though, is Pride Month and I think Melissa Etheridge once said ‘Love is never wrong’. As long as it’s between consenting adults, I say heck yeah, enjoy the love!
