DiMi’s Tsubo-Niwa is a small Japanese garden backdrop/photo scene for sale at this round of Driftwood. The scene is Copy/Modify and out of the box 86 Land Impact. Demo available at DiMi’s mainstore.
And now for the “just because” part. I sometimes do unsponsored blog posts, just because, but it’s been a while now since I did that. Reading Victoria James’ blog post Isn’t It Romantic the other day inspired me to do one again myself. Well, it’s semi just because at least. I found so much stuff I liked at this round of TMD and I’d like to share it with you. The hair from Dura, the facial hair from Volkstone, the jacket from not so bad and the backpack from .etiquette are all at TMD this round. So freaking awesome!
Medicine shows were touring acts that peddled “miracle cure” patent medicines and other products between various entertainments. They developed from European mountebank shows and were common in the United States in the nineteenth century, especially in the Old West. They usually promoted “miracle elixirs” (sometimes referred to as snake oil), which, it was claimed, had the ability to cure disease, smooth wrinkles, remove stains, prolong life or cure any number of common ailments.
At the Hallow Manor event you can buy Never Totally Dead‘s Doctor Charles Attend’s Wagon. Dr. Attend sells the patented ‘Heal Everything’ potion, a miracle cure for only 5$! The wagon is Copy/Mod and 35 Li out of the box.
The Medical Chart, also by Never Totally Dead, is a Hallow Manor hunt prize (see hunt guide below). Be careful though, the chart has an evil streak… Check out Mahogany’s blog post for more pictures of the wagon!

Hallow Manor Hunter’s Guide
When you arrive at Hallow Manor, you enter the gates to find a winding alley of goods that have been created with the macabre and frightful in mind. Once you have purchased everything your little black heart desires, you will enter the grounds of Hallow Manor’s cemetery, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the old estate.
You will have an opportunity to purchase a HUD in order to search for the lost keys to unlock the hidden prize room, or, if you so wish, purchase a master key HUD, to bi-pass the hunt.
WARNING: THIS IS NOT A HUNT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
Keys move every 6 hours, and you must be within 15 meters of a key for it to register on your HUD.
HOW TO HUNT:
Buy a HUD at the event. There are three levels of HUDs.
BRONZE: (price: 50L) This HUD is for those who want to hunt for 10 keys. The keys can be hidden anywhere in the event area. You find the key and touch it. The HUD will record your touch. You can not touch the same key twice. You must be within at least 15 meters of the key for it to register. Once you have found 10 keys, they will unlock a single prize of your choice in the prize area. Once you have claimed your prize, the HUD will be deactivated. You will buy one Bronze HUD for every prize you would like to win.
SILVER: (price: 150L) This HUD is for those who want to get a prize but do not want to hunt for 10 keys. This HUD will automatically unlock one prize of your choice in the secret prize room. Once you have redeemed your prize, the HUD will be deactivated. You will buy one Silver HUD for every prize you would like to open without having to hunt.
GOLD: (price: 5000L) This HUD is for those who want all the prizes NOW! No hunting is involved. Just buy the HUD and teleport to the secret prize room to collect all of the prizes being offered and enjoy!
Halloween is not a big tradition in Norway but I love all the spooky stuff that the awesome creators are bringing us in Second Life right now. It’s so much fun! So far I’ve featured steampunk party skellies and an awesome costume and today I want to show you this cool tattoo by CAROL G. I might do a picture of the back later just because it looks so awesome, but my favourite part is it showing you where to go trick or treat 😉
The tattoo comes with Belleza, Maitreya, Signature, Slink, Legacy and Omega appliers, and you can choose the degree of fading. It’s available right now at the Swank event!
Bart, Anne, Ben, Jack, Bejamin and Edward are inviting us to a party at their place, let’s go! These awesome partying steampunk skeletons are made by DaD and you can find the Let’s Party Skully! pack at Salem until October 31.
