I feel it’s important to point out that most Scandinavians, or Nordic even because it includes Iceland, during the Viking age… weren’t Vikings. They did make blood sacrifice in honor of the Norse gods, yes, it definitely was a rough time during the Middle Ages but most people weren’t savage warriors however; they were farmers and fishermen and merchants. When iron was put to use in farming, production went up and land became scarce and some people decided to set sail to other countries to raid and plunder in order to make a living. They went ‘viking’ and they gave a name to the entire Nordic poplulation that lived during that time. Ok ok you say, so what am I blogging?
I’m blogging some amazing creations that have been released for this round of Men Only. The beautiful tattoo is by CORAZON, the kilt by L’Emporio & PL and if you look close enough you can see face scratches by NoRush. I’m blogging them again later, and closer, in another picture just because they look amazing as far as scratches go.
There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs.
I’m wearing the new Henry t-shirt from CHUCK SIZE while I’m out and about photographing the scenes with my vintage Reflex Camera from Sari-Sari. The Henry Shirt by CHUCK SIZE is available at this round of The Mens Dept and you get 10 amazing colors and prints in the fatpack (5 fatpack exclusives). This shirt is compatible with Jake (shown on me), Legacy, Gianni and Geralt male mesh bodies.
The Sari-Sari Reflex Camera takes us back to the old and awesome SLR cameras. My dad had them and I, in my youth, borrowed them all the time to run around snapping pictures. I paid for having the pictures developed myself out of my pocket money salary. The Reflex Camera by Sari-Sari contains bento hold poses, male and female versions and it looks amazing as an avatar accessory and a photo prop. Also in the pack you’ll also find a Drying Prints/Picture Hanger decor item. The Reflex Camera is available at Anthem this round.
There are so many people on the Second Life grid that are snapping pictures. They capture their lives, by themselves or with their SL family and friends. They travel around and capture landscapes and cityscapes and experiences. They work on blog pictures and advertisements and art projects. We’re all having fun taking pictures and the Second Life Flickr community gets filled with them. Some people feel they are entitled to judge what’s good and what’s bad photography and what’s good and what’s bad art. It’s all about personal taste, people, so be nice to each other or just mind your own business. For bloggers it’s a little bit different; it’s about whether or not a creator likes the way you blog or not. Even if YOU like their products, they might not like your style of blogging. Or they are simply looking at your number of followers. If you don’t get accepted as their blogger just move on, reapply later if you want to but there are so many creators out there and you’re guaranteed to find another brand you like that also likes your blog! Be nice to each other or just mind your own business.
How you behave in a time of need and when you need nothing, thus no one, says a whole lot about you as a person. It’s good to stop once in a while and check yourself, maybe the beginning of a new year is a good time to do so? No matter what you find when you do the soul searching… I wish you all the best for 2022. The sponsored items used in this picture I have already blogged before but I wanted to do a portrait so this is it, my first post for 2022 is just for fun heyyy!
My avatar appearance is non-sponsored but I can share that the head is LeLUTKA, the hair is from Vango, the eyebrows from Clever Language, the eyes are by Avi-Glam and the skin and the facial hair is by Volkstone while Izzie’s made the forehead lines, eye bags and chin dimple. The shape is my own.
Thank you to the love of my life 💜, my friends, my awesome blog sponsors, blogger managers and readers, for making 2021 a wonderful year in SL and RL despite the on-going pandemic. May You have a year that is filled with love, laughter, brightness and hope. I wish you all a Happy New Year!
I got this. Especially now that I have the Sari-Sari Beer Advent Calendar. Then with help from CHEZ MOI I can make gingerbread houses and I can wrap all my presents with the new gift boxes from Granola. Yup. And still look good too, wearing the Crockett outfit from Hoorenbeek.
The Sari-Sari Beer Advent Calendar is both decorative and functional as it dispenses you a holdable beer (male and female and also right and left hand versions). Find this awesome piece at The Warehouse Sale event. Skål!
For Tannenbaum, CHEZ MOI made a fantastic DIY Gingerbread House Decor Set. I couldn’t fit all the set pieces in this picture so make sure you check it out at Tannenbaum!
Granola‘s Noelle Gift Boxes Mod/Transfer versions for Happy Weekend and Mod/Copy versions for the Granola Black Friday Sale. Both sales run through Monday!

I was going to make the caption: ‘Weekend at the Lodge’ but then I was thinking; I might just stay here through the winter! I love cabin life, it’s soul-soothing for me to be close to nature; walks in the forest, chopping firewood and then have the same firewood heat up the entire cabin for hours.. Sit outside on the deck and listen to the birds sing or just watch the fish jump in the lake. Ahhh, but the coffee was to-go from Sari-Sari.
