New releases for him and her from Allure Couture for this round of LOOK. The Shen Beach Shorts fatpack gives you ten different textures via HUD. Sandals are included (not shown in this picture), with eight different textures to choose from. There’s also a slimpack available with five shorts textures. The shorts are compatible with Aesthetic, Belleza Jake, Classic Avatars, Davide, David, Signature Geralt and Gianni and Slink male bodies. The sandals fits Belleza, Signature Gianni and Slink. I have blogged unicorn apparel before; onesies and a t-shirt. This time I’ve gotten my hands on these awesome unicorn shorts! It’s not one giant step that does it. It’s lots of little steps.

Someone said that a shortcut is the longest distance between two points. There’s much truth in that. I can’t remember a single time where I’ve been pleased with the outcome after I’ve rushed something or tried taking a shortcut. On foot shortcuts work very well when you know the map, but in life in general? Nope. Forget it. Take all the little steps needed to make sure you achieve your goal. It takes as long as it takes and it’s worth it.

Dogs aren’t the only creatures uncomfortable in oppressive heat, so why does a dog get singled out in dog days? The dog here is actually the Dog Star, which is also called Sirius. The star has long been associated with sultry weather in the northern hemisphere because it rises simultaneously with the sun during the hottest days of summer. In the ancient Greek constellation system, this star (called Seirios in Greek) was considered the hound of the hunter Orion and was given the epithet Kyon, meaning “dog.” The Greek writer Plutarch referred to the hot days of summer as hēmerai kynades (literally, “dog days”), and a Latin translation of this expression as dies caniculares is the source of our English phrase.

75° F in Northern Norway feels like this. It’s been like this for three whole days! It’s nice though, I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts because the average summer temperature where I live is 53° F.

The closest I ever got to skateboarding was playing video games. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, anyone? I sucked. I’ve played a lot of video games, for someone who sucks at gaming! Anyway, while taking the photos for these poses we could at least pretend for a moment, that we were good skaters. The poses look amazing, don’t you think?
