Yes, I’m a hopeless romantic and the title of my post could easily refer to eternal love… It sort of does. Another thing that has become eternal, or rather, timeless, since its creation in 1873; denim clothing. When tailor Jacob Davis and businessman Levi Strauss teamed up to create a pair of sturdy work pants for gold miners, they made them from a cotton twill fabric that Levi Strauss was importing; denim. In 1905 they made the first denim shirt to companion the work trousers.

I’m wearing the Ranger Denim Shirt by Lapointe Bastchild accompanying their Havoc Jeans. The unbuttoned denim shirt has a variety of HUD controlled options; choice of denim colour, with or without patches, choice of t-shirt colour and print as well as a no t-shirt option. Today was a lovely autumn day in Northern Norway and I’m certainly enjoying what’s left of daylight and sunshine before winter and snow and the Polar Night comes and turns off the light.
