Stand for Justice

Yugen is participating in Stand for Justice with the beautiful Selah tree. This item is sold exclusively for the duration of the event and when it’s done it’s gone! 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Stand for Justice fundraising effort (read more below).

As usual you get four different models in the pack and low LOD versions as well for lower LI. HUD controlled texture changer for Leaf and Bark.

Also in this picture you can see the Kaori flower, also from Yugen. The pack contains three different shapes/flower clusters and a multi color HUD so you can change the color of different parts of the flower! 1-2 LI and permissions are Copy/Modify. The Kaori is available at this round of Cosmopolitan.

WHAT IS IT?

Stand for Justice is a fundraising effort in SL dedicated to raising funds that will be used as a split donation to Black Lives Matter, Black Visions Collective, Campaign Zero, the National Police Accountability Project, and a Split Bail Fund benefitting 38+ bail funds nationwide.

All items will be a 100% donation, collected by an avatar created for this purpose, StandforJusticeSL Resident.

The fundraiser started Friday, June 5th, 2020 (end date TBA).

This old classic has been parked behind the barn and left untended. The B-Made Jagu is a new release ready for this upcoming round of Cosmopolitan which opens June 1st. The Jagu contains animations and has a Land Impact of 13.

Oak trees grow in the wild but are also popular ornamental trees. The Wild Oak Tree v2 and v3 from The Little Branch are out now at Uber! Highly detailed, with realistic textures and animated foliage; these beauties look good anywhere! Season change menu available upon Touch. LI 3-7.

The Buzzing

For this round of Cosmopolitan, GOOSE has the Umbrella Bench set. The umbrella lantern is a fun, a little strange but beautiful piece which inspired the half-light mood of this picture. The bench comes in PG and Adult versions.

I’m also featuring the beautiful aelin tree and the noori flower by Yugen. Like all trees from Yugen, you get a leaf and bark HUD and you can find four different versions of the tree in the box and each version come in a high and a low LOD version. The noori flowers come with or without fireflies, touch the flower for texture changer menu. Easy peasy and you’ve got yourself the most beautiful and magical scenery!

The Agarwood Tree is an evergreen tree that was mostly found in Northeast India, Bangladesh and Southeast Asia, and is now considered endangered. Deep, rich, earthy and personal, its sweet yet sharp balsamic woodiness will stimulate all of your senses. Agarwood trees grow randomly in the forest, usually in difficult to reach places. A couple of them have made it down to our beach for the sake of this picture. Agarwood is also an aphrodisiac, both in oil form, and as incense. The Agarwood Tree is a new release by The Little Branch and it’s available at this round of Uber. Happy landscaping!

When we’re not on SL, M and I often watch horror shows together on Netflix (screen share in Discord for the win!). Her passion for the genre has opened my eyes to Norwegian horror as we’ve watched Cave and are now enjoying the Bloodride short stories. Villmark and Cold Prey are definitely also now on the ‘to watch’ list! This scene I’ve created doesn’t look anything like Norwegian horror though; no dark forest, no looming mountains or cracking glacier… but would you stay at the Wander Inn?
