The DaD Victorian Ancestors is a fun collection to help preserve some of the more memorable characters in the family.
Sir and Lady Skilleton were notorious for lavish costume parties while Sir and Lady Ghost were known for creating havoc and pulling pranks on all the guests. As you can see their memory lives on with these elaborate wall hangings and busts. To complete the set is the Victorian fireplace and wooden panels from the ancestral home. We all know by now that Madagascar is the only habitat for all the wild Lemurs in the world but did you know that they have a female-dominant society? Lemur females show signs of dominance in the way they mark their territories within the group. Another fact is that female lemurs snatch food away from the males and also kick them out of sleeping spots. For more facts about Lemurs, check out the Lemur Conservation Network’s blog.

Konoha knows just what a landscaper in Second Life needs and this time it’s weeds! Out at the current round of Cosmopolitan event. Consists of 10 kinds of weeds and over 16 dual-combination textures. 26 mesh pieces.
I don’t know how it is everywhere else but way up north where I live, the birch trees are now yellowing and soon the rowan trees will follow, turning yellow and red. Fall colors are amazing.
The L’Auzon is the most recent release from La Petite Vie and it’s another addition to their line of Provencal style buildings. The L’Auzon is available at the early September round of Cosmopolitan. Rez it with or without the pergola. The vines are tintable, so instead of green I made them orange for this scene. Color HUD included for Exterior/Interior Walls & Shutters/Door. Full version is 43 Li and 10 x 8,5 m.

In this picture I’m showcasing their American Chestnut Tree v2 which is available right now at TMD. The American chestnut (Castanea dentata) is a large deciduous tree of the beech family native to eastern North America. The American chestnut was one of the most important forest trees throughout its range and was considered the finest chestnut tree in the world. The species was devastated by chestnut blight, a fungal disease that came from Chinese chestnut trees introduced into North America from East Asia. It is estimated that between 3 and 4 billion American chestnut trees were destroyed in the first half of the 20th century by chestnut blight after the blight’s initial discovery in North America in 1904.
