That’s it. I’ve been searching for words lately and been debating with myself wether I should say anything if I did find words. I’m shocked and disgusted with how people are still being treated like they don’t belong in this world. “To protect and serve.” A phrase that only makes me angry. In a month you’ll be celebrating 4th of July – Where’s Liberty and Justice for ALL? The Land of the Free? It’s not America. A lot of brave souls live there though, with no protection. How much noise do they have to make to be heard? Don’t shoot! Listen!

Did I tell you the snow is gone? The last day it snowed here was May 15th but it was too “warm” so the snow didn’t stick. Also, we now have 24 hour daylight. Not exactly Midnight Sun season yet but we’re nearly there so the nights don’t get dark anymore and it’ll stay light 24/7 from now and throughout August. My long johns are packed away and I’m definitely looking forward to warmer days ahead!
